The use of alcohol is the number one drug abused in most country. Alcohol is classified as drug but most people don’t believe that. Because the use of alcohol is being tolerates in our society. Alcohol, as always, is part of the celebrations like birthdays, weddings, parties, fiestas, and other festive occasions. Many people especially young people take alcohol because it is the dictate of the life- style of the new generation.

If alcohol is classified as drug, then why do people still drink alcohol? It is because it is a central activity in our society. Without alcohol, some parties, fiestas and birthdays would be boring. Drinking alcohol is only avoided if it is against you religion. Alcohol gives color and happiness in any activity without knowing its bad or harmful effect to our health.

Here are some reasons why a person drinks alcohol:

1. It increases warmth during cold days.
2. It is related to being relaxed and expressive instead of feeling tense, shy or uncomfortable.
3. It adds excitement to sex and romance.
4. It is related to manhood.
5. It is to success.
6. It is related to making friends and socializations.
7. It is related to relieving stress and tensions.
