Before, our customs says that skirts are for women and pants are for men.  Fortunately, gone are those days.  And people can now have the freedom to wear whichever they like to wear.  Women now, are not only limited to wearing skirts, shorts or pants.  They can now wear anything and everything that they may find.

Because of the many selection for women’s clothing, most of us thought that choosing the right clothes for you will never be a problem.  However, there are many women who are still having difficulties finding the right clothing for them.  These are the taller women and the plus-sized women.

Actually, finding clothing that are perfect for taller women is really difficult if you are looking at the wrong place.  For example, if you are in an Asian country where the height of women ranges from 5 to 6 ft, this is really a serious problem.  Likewise is the situation if you are a plus-sized women.  Fortunately, there are online sites which provides special sizes for women’s clothing.

Helpfulness and Cooperation

Here are some ways on how we can become helpful and cooperative:

  1. Share in the home chores like washing dishes, ironing clothes, cleaning the room, cooking, etc.
  2. Help keep your school clean, orderly and safe by throwing your waste in the waste can, avoiding vandalism, etc.
  3. Observe silence when other students are studying; when classes are in session.
  4. Take good care of private and public places like the school library, comfort rooms, church, park, market, etc.
  5. Help keep order during programs and meetings. Avoid making noise that may distract them.
  6. Share in the school chores like cleaning the blackboards, decorating bulletin boards, arranging books and other school equipments, etc.
  7. Help the sick, weak and aged. Assist them while walking, eating, when crossing a street, etc.
  8. Help our neighbors whenever our help is needed.
  9. Help keep cleanliness in your community.
  10. Keeps artesian wells clean and sanitary.
  11. Take active part in community drives promoting health and safety.
  12. Keep animals from straying.
  13. Help others know and obey school rules.
  14. Take active part in school activities like the flag raising ceremony, foundation day, trainings, seminars, etc.
  15. Report cases of contagious diseases to the proper authorities.
  16. Join a clubs or organizations that promotes clean and green environment.

Love Your Heart

If you do not feel any symptoms, it does not mean you are safe from heart diseases. Most doctors especially cardiologists say that heart diseases are the number one killer disease in our country. It can strike you anywhere, anytime at any age. More health experts give these very simple tips for a healthy heart:

Have a regular exercise- Walking, dancing, jogging and swimming are the best exercise that you can do for your heart. Exercise everyday if possible, if not then at least 4 times a week. It also strengthens our body immune system. It also helps lowered blood pressure and helps control body weight.

Minimize drinking alcohol- Believe it or not all kinds of alcohol are bad for the heart, except wine. More alcohol drinkers do not believe that alcohol is a drug and that is true.

Have a low-cholesterol diet- avoid eating foods that are high in saturated fat like dairy and butter products, egg yolks, chicken skin, beef and pork fats, junk foods, etc. Eat only healthy and low fat food like vegetables, fruits, cereals and oats, fish, bread and practice drinking at least 8 glasses of water everyday.

Visit your doctor for your medical check up at least once a year- Even if you do not feel any symptoms of heart disease, you must have your check up at least once a year. Do not wait until you feel something before you have yourselves check.

Learn how to manage stress- Observations shows that stress people have high blood pressure and this become a risk factor, they smoke a lot and have irregular eating habit. One of the best ways to release stress is laughter. Find time to relax and enjoy. Spend more quality time with your family, friends, relatives and officemates. Watch a funny movie together, go to the mall, picnics and attend parties and other special occasions.

Helpful Tips in Removing Tight Fitting Rings

  1. Study shows that more blood flows to your hands to feed the muscles and this makes your hand expand slightly in the morning. Try removing them in the morning when you are standing up or doing your morning routine. If you will do it as soon as you wake up in the morning and before you get out of bed have a lubricant ready like baby oil, lotion, etc. You can now start by moving or twisting the ring to get the oil or lotion under the ring and then while still twisting try to pull it off. You must do it very quickly because all this activity gets the blood circulating again. You can also try to remove that ring in a cold day. A cold day In a cold day, it would cause your hand to contract making your hand smaller.
  2. You can also try to get it off while washing your hands because you are using two (2) lubricants, the soap and the water.
  3. Raise your hands up.  Try raising your hand with the offending ring straight up for about one to two minutes. The heart has a hard time pumping blood all the way up there and all the blood flows out of the hand. The hand now becomes skinner and the ring comes right off.
